Our Midsole foam formulation is largely based on Natural Rubber, which is known to provide maximum resilience/ rebound.
ExtraLife Midsoles are produced from recycled rubber (up to 100% of base recycled rubber), which is obtained from end-of-life tires using a patented technology. We aim to address concerns of tire waste management and environmental damage from use of new petroleum based materials in shoe production.
ExtraLife Midsole foam material and its cellular structure demonstrates maximum reselince and compression-set, and hence allowing long term cushioning effect and feet comfort.
ExtraLife Midsoles can be low in weight to cater to requirements of atheltic and work shoes. We can vary density (~0.2 g/cm3) based on the shoe design and end-user requirements.
Extralife Midsole's rubber compound inherently contains Natural Rubber, Carbon Black Reinforcement, Anti-Ozonant etc. that not only provides better vibration dampening and resistance to wear-and-tear but also provides protection against natural elements.
ExtraLife Midsoles are made from "real rubber": Natural Rubber, SBR, etc., which undergoes vulcanization and foaming during the manufacturing process. Hence, our Midsoles exhibit superior shock absorption, and vibration dampening properties compared to traditional materials like EVA or PU Foam
