Our footwear Insoles, Midsoles, and Outsoles are designed to meet or exceed sustainability, performance, comfort, durability, and commercial scalability requirements.
We closely partner with Designers, Engineers, and Marketing leaders in the footwear companies to solve sustainability/ corporate ESG and design/ production challenges with footwear materials.

Our Advantage
The advantage of ExtraLife Insoles, Midsoles, and Outsoles exists in our newly developed sustainable elastomeric rubber made from a mixture of recycled rubber and bio-based materials.
Our rubber has very low density (weight) and high resilience, and resistance to cushion deflation and abrasion.
Our rubber material is not only sustainable but is also highly durable due to the high composition of natural rubber, & superior reinforcement fillers contained in our proprietary rubber compound formulation.
We do NOT use the traditional petroleum-based materials like EVA, PU, PE etc., which are the leading contributors of environmental pollution.
Furthermore, these traditional materials fall short in comparison to our rubber when it comes to density, hardness, durability, and performance characteristics like abrasion resistance, shock absorption, and compression set.

We are a team of Industrial, & Chemical Engineers (combined 25+ years of experience) with a passion for materials engineering and environmental sustainability.
We also have footwear industry designers and consultants (40+ years of experience) in our team to guide us on the footwear industry, and end-user/customer requirements.
Our Team has worked on research and development, prototyping, and testing for 6+ years to produce different rubber compound formulations/ processes and physical properties that meet various materials and design requirements for footwear insoles and outsoles

We have multiple prototypes & samples of insoles and outsoles with varying properties (e.g. hardness, density, tensile strength etc.) and recycled rubber proportions (50%- 100% of base rubber) & bio-based ingredients (up to 40%).
We have a team of experienced rubber scientists who can formulate customized solutions for your footwear safety, and performance requirements.
We can supply commercial quantities of finished product -insoles, midsoles, and outsoles per your shoe design and performance requirements directly to your shoe assembly factories.
We can provide testing results and third-party certifications to validate our claims of recycled rubber contents and sustainability.
